Greek Life Observation
by: Leland’s ghost
Stanford is a case study on how not to run Greek life at a university. When the university owns the dirt under the houses, they have all the power. They create scarcity by kicking houses off and restricting the amount of housing available. The remaining fraternities will bend over backwards to please the university so as not to lose their house.
This is so sad since Stanford used to have an amazing Greek life up until about the 50s. ASU is doing the same thing to its Greek life. Moral of the story is never let the university under own the dirt under your house. I hope Sigma Chi takes the university to the woodshed.
