Tri Sigma is a group that is always fighting a bad reputation given to them by past situations that usually occur between two women with opposing views. While I am not a Tri Sigma, I am friends and have worked with many of them in classes and on service trips. The saddest part about their situation is that they know they are being targeted, but do not feel as though what they have to say to fight back matters or will be heard. As someone who loves SJU, I can say that Sigma girls, like other Greek members, add value and spunk to our campus. Not everyone in life with be your cup of tea, but to insult these woman using derogatory words and sharing assumed opinions of them is low and pathetic. Check your heart, people. Sigma girls are kind and smart, with more to offer than they are challenged and asked to give - utilize what they offer!
