sorority comments

I was looking through the comments, and saw that last week, a lot of girls were asking about GPA. I think it's still worth it to go through recruitment if you have 3.0 or under. You can still meet new people through the experience. However, if you only want to be in a "top tier" sorority, then don't rush. They'll cut you immediately, legacy or not. If you're willing to give "middle" and "lower" tiers an honest shot, then do! Phi Mu, AOII, AGD, KD, and Alpha Pi would be the sororities you'd be mostly likely to get into.

I came from HS with a 4.0 and got cut from ADPi after the first day.. If that tells you anything about how important GPA is. Considering ADPi has one of, if not the highest GPA.

Why do so many girls get cut from ADPi? What do you have to do to get in?

I'm in a sorority at UK and my sorority doesnt haze at all and as far as I know, no other sororities haze either. The older girls all love the new girls and shower them with gifts and are super nice!

is it hard to get a bid to DZ?

Adpi cuts so many girls because they have such a high return rate- which means that most girls want to come to come. They have a higher chance of girls accepting bids than lower sororities(they need to invite more girls back so they dont' have to cut as many).
As for DZ- I wouldn't necessarily say it is hard if you fit in with them! They are a mid-upper tier sorority so you'll need to be somewhat attractive, decent GPA, etc!
