Pnm's asked back to pref must be on the sorority's bid list, and each sorority is given the number of pnm's they can have back and can't go over that number, therefore releases must be made. Great pnm's aren't asked back for pref round all the time and it is actually upsetting for sorority members too when their favorite girls don't come back! Don't take any drops personally; it is a numbers game and doesn't mean they hate you or found you lacking or still wouldn't want you for a friend. Focus on where you are invited back!

Each sorority has their own method of membership selection which is private and not shared with non-members. All pnm's are given due consideration; the process is not taken lightly because it is the most important thing a sorority will do all year.
