im a girl in low tier sorority (ask me ques)

We mix with fraternities a few times, but not as much as sororities like gamma phi or zta obviously. Sometimes with fraternities like Phi Kappa Tau or Pi Phi. We've mixed with a somewhat high tier fraternity once and i felt extremely akward just because I knew that the guys would rather mix with a top tier sorority rather than us. Seemed like they didn't really care to be there. I once went to a mixer between a top tier sorority and frat because my roomate at the time was in that soroity and she kinda snuck me in but It was a completely different vibe that I've never expirneced. People were all talking and guys seemed like they actually wanted to be there. Guys even talked to prob because they thought i was in that soroity. Made me kinda feel like I was missing out.

Im not OP but im in a low tier sorority too. It was not my first choice but ended up becoming my only choice. I was very upset at first, still kind of am because i know i couldve "done better' but Im also realizing that the girls im with are sooooo much more chill than girls in ZTA are (nothing against them at all) but im slowly realizing that im spending hours with these girls a week and im glad theyre chill and not fake/into drama.

I've never been to a high tiers formal but I have gone to a top tier sororitys date function tho because i was invited by one of my friends . Most of the guys were from fraternties like TDX or Sig Chi (machi now). I actually had so much fun and everyone was pretty nice. It was interesting to see how different their events were to ours. Defiantly more partying, drinking, and hooking up happening. My big dated a guy for a little bit that was in top tier and she would always go to these events. She did tell me she felt left out, especially because girls would think they were better or guys would drunkly make jokes about our sorority.
