Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority Ratings at WM

Hi, I am a theta and I just want to say thank you for your input and for holding us accountable. it’s true that we have not been the most inclusive in the past due to the exclusive nature and prominent white space of Greek life. A lot of us also understand that it will take a while for us to prove that we are committed to making it more inclusive. We are not perfect and we will fail. We are however working towards allyship and inclusion and will continue to be transparent about this effort on our social media. Thank you again for the reminder to hold each other accountable. Hopefully our actions this fall will speak louder than the words written on this website.

Yeah we’re all so jealous we didn’t get into theta. Why are you so hellbent on this negative being about that? No one gives a damn about that at the moment. Jesus Christ where is your empathy. You call them trolls but people are trying to hold you accountable and instead of taking the criticism you’re self ranking to hide it for PNMs. Disgraceful.

Theta is a great house that I would be honored to join. The girls are socially engaged and have one the best reputations on campus. Most people who are critical of them are jealous or still salty they got cut by them. But, theta could work to be more inclusive.

This sorority is truly down to earth and one of the most genuine out there. While their involvement on campus could be better, I have never met a theta who I genuinely did not like. All this hate is ridiculous especially during a time where people should be banding together.

It’s sad that all the strats are getting trolled. If you are a PNM, don’t let this site guide your impression of sorority life at WM. It’s just not representative of what it’s really like. Nobody cares this much, and in fact, most don’t see Greek life defining them in any way.

lololololol. so but hurt at the commentary on here. is that why you haven't been posting on social media???? why oh why does the world count out the thetas? maybe it's because y'all don't care about anyone else but yourself.

Theta is not a bad house. They got a very bad pledge class last year that has caused them issues on campus with other strats and frats, who claim that anyone who doesn’t like their behavior is jealous or got cut. Not true. These girls were nasty to ppl and are facing consequences. But, don’t count theta out. They’ve been a solid mid to upper house for years. They’ll be back.

The thetas I know are some of the sweetest most involved individuals. A lot of them are OAs, in leadership positions in clubs, and involved in community service. I’ve never had a bad interaction with a single theta but I’ve heard of situations with other people. Overall I think most of them are very sweet and dedicated girls, it’s just a very cliquey sorority from what I can tell. The same sisters hang out together and do things together.

These girls do not deserve the hate they get on this website. In real life, Thetas are friends with so many other girls in other sororities. They are well liked on campus and are very involved. These girls are always doing something to better themselves! People posting hate either got dropped or are in another top sorority. All sororities at william and mary are great, no need to be dragging certain ones down.

These girls are notorious for self ranking and trying to create an illusion of something they are not. I know two girls regretting choice to pledge because thought it was something it wasn’t. Look for external confirmation before pledging don’t buy into the self-promotion hype. I guarantee if you wait until your sophomore year, this start will not be on your list.
