They aren't unless you're trying to get into certain houses that have exclusive relationships with sororities.

You're not hated on - only dorm guys are.

Same as what other people said, we made the active choice to be a part of a group or a community and we went through things and still have to go through things, for example as a girl, we go to chapter every monday, or we have to go to mandatory speakers, as do guys in order to be a part of this community and dorm people just want to get drank out and it's basically a freebie which is really annoying. Wouldn't it be annoying if you joined a club, paid membership fees, did a bunch of other stuff for the club and then when it comes to a fun activity all of a sudden a bunch of people who didn't go through what you went through get to also enjoy, it's just not fair.
