dorm girls at parties

Why is it that any time I go to a frat party, boys act differently when I tell them I live in the dorms? Like they lose interest almost immediately. Can't dorm girls have fun too?

Dorm girls are usually more than welcome to join in but it can be hard to feel welcomed in a party where people already know eachother. Also being expected to walk a girl back to her dorm is less appealing than walking a girl back to a nearby house
