I would say they're thought of as lower than those three. TKE's only pulls girls from a couple top houses and those other three chapters pull girls from a way wider range of top sororities. Also TKE's parties are pretty soft compared to the other three but generally have good game day parties

Tekes know how to hold it down. Every time I have been to a tekes party their has been girls represented from all of the top houses. Best thing about tekes is that there is no sleeping porch and the house is a mansion. Also tekes is the only top house that is allowed by their alumni to throw biads and triads. All of the other top houses come over to tekes to party. Anyways whatever top 4 house you sign will be a blast and make your choice on whatever guys you feel most comfortable with.

he said only top houses.. meaning sigma chi, fiji, beta and teke. Out of those 4 tekes is the only house that can throw registered biads and triads...

the overall consensus of the top houses this year (in order):
1) betas have had a top year in grades and IMA sports. very rich house and 95% white guys. girls for the most part like them, all the rest of the top frats hate them for their pompous demeanor.
2) sigma chi have held it down this year. very fratty and can't top their numbers. they are respected by the bros and loved by many sororities. make it nasty was the biggest party of the year along with TKE morning bar.
3) tekes have continued the trend of being athletic and throwing the biggest parties. this is what keeps them at a top house status, even with their average grades. they are known for very deep traditions especially seen in their insane greek (teke) week
4) fiji were the top house but they have slipped this year. their pc09 and pc10 ran the greek system for a couple years but as they got phased out, pc11 couldn't step up. their reputation will keep them at a top house but less secrecy and reclusion needs to occur if they want to rise the ranks.
however, those houses are the top "social" houses...
pi kapps, chi psi, and alpha delts, in my opinion, are the top "fraternities" (houses based on philanthropy, brotherhood, community service, and being gentlemen)
