I’ve met a few in my time at Vcu and the group as a whole has changed for the better. Lots of diversity but all have a vibe in common. Much different from when they were all tan instagram model type blondes a few years ago... keep evolving ladies!

I feel bad for the newer girls because I think they have had the worst luck last semester and couldn't really seem to catch a break. But as new sisters keep coming it keeps getting better and you can tell they are learning from their mistakes

So...how did you guys already give out bids if you didn’t have any like open events for informal recruitment?? Seems pretty dirty to me and with the trouble y’all were already in? Shouldn’t you be trying to get the masses to see y’all and join? Awk.

Awk when you have people who put down their information to know abt the events but were never contacted....just the people they hand picked got to know lol

No lol informal recruitment doesn’t mean you go around cherry picking girls! You’re still supposed to have events that let you “meet the sisters” that anyone can come to! I’m in phi mu and I totally agree! I’ve been here for a while and I just wish we had more sisters that we actually got to know before accepting,not just cause they want to be cute and show off for frat guys

When I met the girls at the sovo fair they made it seem like people could join up through spring recruitment. Come to realize after trying to find out when their rush events were that they weren't throwing any... and that they had basically already cherry picked the girls they wanted before opening up to the student population (shady af). They somehow also tried to reiterate that I still had a chance even though they weren't throwing a single Phi Mu exclusive recruitment event to meet possible pledges. Definitely disappointing and I feel like my time and energy has been wasted because they were for sure going to be my top choice!
