There are literally thousands of girls there between active members and PNMs getting bids, and there simply is not enough room for parents too. Cut the cord for a few hours. It’s embarrassing for your daughter, and this isn’t Bama.

Also, keep in mind that the active members and Panhellenic women have been working for weeks, often 12+ hour days, and they are exhausted. Bid Day is for the girls. Let them have their moment without adding even more people and chaos to The Village.

Stay home. Meet up with your daughter later. Everyone had a long, emotional week, and no one is more special than anyone else today.
