my experience in a lower chapter

i’ve seen a lot of greek talk on yikyak due to hoco so i wanted to just talk about what it’s like in a lower chapter. i was a pnm this past rush from oos and it was such a fun experience but very stressful! my video was not great and i was dropped by some of my favorite chapters, then dropped again by my top 2 right before pref. i ended up in my third choice house, which would be considered mid or lower mid. and honestly, i love it! the girls are so kind and sisterhood is so strong, and genuinely no kind of ranking on this site means anything. i’ve never been treated differently, i have friends in all kinds of sororities, and we do all the same things as other chapters. if you’re a future pnm, trust the process! i didn’t get a chapter my heart was set on but i got one my heart belongs in :) every chapter is great and (for the most part with maybe one chapter as an exception) treated the same. there’s really very little reason these rankings even have except for historical ranks and who frat guys think are the prettiest. all panhellenic chapters have smart and pretty girls, and every house has some gossips and drama, but there are sweethearts everywhere!!! no matter what these rankings say they literally have no connection to reality and wherever you end up you will thrive as long as you make the best of it!
