what sororities normally do fall cob?
by: fallcob??i really want to do fall cob this year but i’m not sure what to expect? i know most don’t do spring cob but which ones typically do it in the fall. i know it ultimately depends how many people they take during recruitment but was just wondering if any typically do it!

some will snap bid girls on bid day (i know adpi and aoii did last year) but they don’t have any cob events or announce they’re taking additional people since there’s that stigma that cob = bad

"answer" is completely wrong. First, snap bids are not COB, they are only about matching to quota on bid day and you have to have gone through recruitment to get a snap but anyone can get a COB. Second, sororities don't announce COB when they only have a few bids to offer because they already know the girls they are going to offer them to so it makes no sense to make an announcement, that's misleading. Also, sororities do not have to announce COB at all, they can just offer bids to whomever they like and that's not 'under the table' or wrong in any way. Only when a chapter has more than a few spots open and don't have enough girls already in mind do they need to recruit for it so they announce COB. The best way to get a COB is to know sorority members.

Pi Phi hasn't reach quota/total for several years, so they are always opening to accepting new members via cob events.
