Spoiled Entitled PNMs
by: TruthThe PNMs are honestly so entitled. Everyone saying there is something wrong with the recruitment process is just upset they got dropped by the top 2 houses. Rush is about trusting the process and seeing where it takes you. Just because you had good conversations doesn’t mean you are necessarily going to fit in with that chapter. These PNMs are just mad and are refusing to give anyone but the top 2 houses a chance. Which to me shows they shouldn’t even be in a sorority at all. I just have heard so much talk about “usf doesn’t do this correctly” no your just entitled and care about house rankings vs actually finding your home. Even if your tops drop you, you should absolutely give the houses you still have a chance. Why do you think you are so above all these amazing women?? Makes no sense. Welcome to college it’s time to grow tf up buttercup❤️❤️❤️

as a pnm there are definitely girls like the ones ur describing but it’s not the majority of ppl complaining about that. i had 5 houses yesterday including those top 2 ur talking about and got a call this morning. im not complaining about those too 2 dropping me im complaining about going from 5 to 0. i know ppl who only had 2 options total after spirit day. that IS messed up and that has NOTHING to do with the rankings ur talking about

USF and PHA are only ones who know what campus wide totals are allowed to be. They set the campus total. Since none of this is published, girls go through the process thinking quota will be established after preference. It’s not and it is why they are such huge cuts. I think Pha needs to be more transparent in the process about this as it’s leading to all this heartbreak. They also collected like $90,000 off the PNMs for registration lol.

i thought with that one chapter leaving campus that others would now have a higher quota??? guess that didnt happen

Quota isn’t established until after preference. At least on the chapters’s end, no one knows quota until bid day. They find out quota at the same time they find out who is running home. Quota cannot be established until PHA knows how many girls signed the MRABA.

Yes there maybe those who are entitled but speaking as a pnm who got 3 chapters for philanthropy, 1 for sisterhood, and a call this morning.. it was disheartening because the 1 from sisterhood I truly connected with their philanthropy due to personal life experiences and was so excited to potentially be involved in their philanthropy work and their sisterhood.

Was it a top house though. So many of those girls drop the bottom houses so basically all of you guys are fighting for top house

ok but like be honest who wants a bottom house… most of the girls besides looks are very awkward, off putting and RUDE. I have talked to multiple people that have a said bottom houses made condescending or outright rude comments to them during the recruitment process. and i have personal experience with that as well. no one wants to pay to be in a sorority they had bad convos with. also bottom houses get treated terriblly by pha and frats because they are WIERDOS at least the top houses are normal humans

That is an awful and delusional attitude. With an attitude like that, you should not be in a sorority. Not only is it an awful attitude, but it’s just not true.

Ok see I can see what you’re saying and i understand how that is frustrating getting 0. But so many girls are complaining because they only get 1 back. Like hey get over yourself and give that one house a chance. Maybe you will find your bestfriends. You really never know. Just not feeling all the mean girl energy from PNMs refusing to give the one house they got back a chance. To me it gives entitled and feeling like you are better than other people. Which is the opposite of what a sorority girl should be.
