dropped rush today

Don’t transfer home. Try to think about the people you did meet that you can make genuine friendships with. Join clubs. Try COB. focus on having a great freshman year and not putting everything into rush. I wish you had stuck it out. Not ALLLLL houses dropped you. That hardly ever happens. Like ever. You could give the ones you had back a chance.

Understand the feeling , I was also dropped by most houses and also being open to who invited me back. I will say it does not seem that the process was prepared for such a large number of potential pnms though. Maybe there should be a different structure like the sec schools with videos and letters of recommendation.

When I went through recruitment I didn’t get anyone I wanted back for pref round but I stuck it out just to see, you can always go through w bid day and drop before initiation if it’s that bad!

You have all of a week to meet these people. Who knows what connections you’ll make in the houses that invited you back?! You’ll never know unless you try

honestly i understand being disappointed not getting ur favorite chapters back is disappointing but I ran home to a house i wasn't sure about and i love it now! sometimes you have to just give it a chance outside the rush experience you honestly can't know anything about the chapters until ur past it

usf isn’t even known for greek you will find better friends outside of it i promise. everyone drops anyways and you will find your people you don’t need to be in a sorority.

Don’t transfer. The academics here are top notch. There is a ton to do in the Tampa Bay area. Go see the gulf towns and beaches. Go to Orlando. Get a pass to Busch gardens. Start with clubs etc. so much to do.

You barely know those girls. The fact you dropped because you didn’t “get the house you wanted” proves to yourself maybe this isn’t for you. You need to trust the process. You should want to be with the girls who want you to be there, not only care about what’s popular
