Not so Perfect as we seem

You see matching outfits and curated Instagram posts. I see girls who won’t even look at each other unless there’s a camera around.

The president cries in the bathroom before every meeting. The girl everyone calls “sweet” keeps a literal notes app list of everyone’s secrets. Half of them are broke but still Venmo each other for $200 dinners just to keep up appearances. And don’t even get me started on the fake friendships—if you heard what they say about each other when one leaves the room, you’d think we were enemies, not “sisters.”

We recruit girls based on how they look in photos and then act shocked when no one actually likes each other.

Also, remember Bid Day? All those “cute” props? Yeah, we still have a pile of those tires sitting in the front yard like we’re running a junkyard. It’s been months. No one’s moved them. No one even talks about it. That’s how lazy everyone is here—just step over the mess and pretend it’s not there, like everything else.
