This is what USF would look like without greek life
by: RealityImagine coming to USF where we don’t have school spirit, we do not tailgate before football games which would lead to low turnouts to sporting events, we don’t have parties, we don’t have socials, we don’t have groups for men & women to connect with each other, we don’t do anything but do our school work and go to bed. Doesn’t that sound super fun! Social lives would go down the drain. But wait, what would happen with bars? Oh that’s right, we would all still be going to those. Which is the same exact thing as going to a frat party. Except they let everyone in to the bars, where as frat parties are limited to only guys they give a bid to. How about if you don’t like greek life and you want to stay away from it, then don’t go to their parties. It’s that simple. Bars let anyone in and are more dangerous than a frat party. Realize that nobody is forcing you to attend these parties or hang with frats. That’s your choice. If you don’t want to, then don’t. Let the people who want to attend and go to parties have that option. Nobody would want to come to USF if we didn’t have any fun here. It would just negatively impact our school in every way. And all for nothing because we will just go to bars instead. Both Fraternities and Sororities do a lot of good, look at our philanthropy’s and all the money we raise for charity. Look at all the volunteering we do. Sigma Nu is a messed up chapter that we, all of greek, wanted kicked off a long time ago because they don’t share our values. Canceling greek would be literally the worst thing to happen here. Goodbye fun, goodbye admission numbers, goodbye football games, goodbye college experience. Kick off Sigma Nu, not all of greek.

You can’t have a party or tailgate at a university without a fraternity. It doesn’t work without them, so you’re wrong.
