Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 2.2 This is for the PNM's: Sigma Kappa is the new sorority on campus and they will be just getting their sorority house as you move in. (Nice house- used to be the house of the #1 fraternity.) A few years ago, their founders were very strong but now the house needs... help. And by help I mean a pledge class full of dedicated girls who are ready to make this house into what it should be. First off, this chapter lacks a solid identity. Also, the leadership right now is horrendous. Once I was walking through the hallway of the MSC and some of the leaders were getting the sisters' attention by blowing dog whistles or yelling at the girls to "shut up". This house is for the PNM who wants to make a difference and leave a big footprint on her time as a sorority sister. Because this house is so new, if you have the ambition to mold Sigma Kappa into what you dream of it being, you can. But you need to go in as a freshman or sophomore and invest most of the time you have not studying/in class into this sorority. Other sororities already have their identities, but Sigma Kappa needs you to give them one if they want to ascend into middle tier.\n\n\n\n\n

I feel like this was actually a well thought out and fair assessment. You aren’t trying to bash sk but what you said is very true. Sk has NO identity. For awhile it seemed they tried to be the nice, inclusive chapter and that worked for them. But now they have too many girls despearate to seem “cool” who are always sloppy drunk and pathetically trying to get with guys who aren’t interested. It’s a shame because they do have some decent nice girls. Their house might save them a little but I also am shocked nat’l would approve because they have so many problems to sort out. Personally if I were a pnm I would def rush sk over aoii and it would be close between Chi O and sk (just because chi o is stronger nationally) but no way can sig kal compete with mid or upper tier. I am going through the girls in my head and I just don’t see them having a strong recruitment but time will tell.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 3.4 This sorority is weird. Lots of its best looking girls don't go out much with their sisters and the rough ones are always out. Gives a bad name to SK when it could be better if everyone was involved, not just the select few who make SK look bad. Overall very chill girls though. Seem to genuinely like each other, and they do get hype about service.

No hate whatsoever, their sisterhood is strong and they were all very friendly, just doesn't seem like a home for someone like me. Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 4.0 Really genuine girls. I'm a PNM and I really hope I get a bid from SK. Ever since I first met them at a meet and greet they really stunned me with their passion for their philanthropy and for the way their sisterhood seems so intact. Honestly, I'd be honored to be a SK and I'm soooo looking forward to Saturday. They don't get wrapped up in the drama and they really seem to love each other. Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 3.8 I've met a few sig kaps last year and have gotten really close to them from studying together. They're pretty nice/genuine girls and make an effort to show face at social functions. Yeah they're newer, but they're on the rise.
