Alpha Phi puts on a great recruitment. All APhis are known for being very good looking and have great reputations with many frats because of this. However, relationships with other sororities are poor due to exclusivity and their goal to seem “superior” instead of promoting Panhellenic relations. A lot of individual girls are super sweet and fun to hang out with, but collectively as a house are generally disliked. APhi definitely has a specific type they recruit and it really makes sense why every girl that is an APhi is in that house.

The girls are all super pretty and stylish but a lot of them lack actual substance. They have a great social media presence but it’s all for show because in reality they have an extremely poor sisterhood

This house is full of beautiful, intelligent, confident and outgoing women. They get stronger as a house every year. Great philanthropy. There are some partiers, just like all of the other houses. But hey it’s college, there are partiers everywhere. Some of the ratings on the list for this sorority are really rude and inaccurate. My guess is jealous girls in other sororities. If I rushed at the university of Utah I would definitely want to be member of alpha phi!

I hate writing this, but I wish someone had told me, especially coming from out of state. I loved them during recruitment, they did the best job! But things totally changed after recruitment. Everyone that had been soooo nice acted totally different. The fun ended at bid day. They also initiate really early so you can never join another sorority. The best girls drop from this house and that says a lot. I wish I had known. Potential New Members beware.
