How do you get asked / ask to go on rush dates?

If you know older girls (from school or mutual friends) reach out to them bc you’re new to uva and would love to meet/ connect with more people. Mention later that you’re rushing, if they like you they’ll put in a good word but don’t lead with that. If u don’t know anyone that’s totally fine, me and my friends are all in good sororities and most of us didn’t have connections going in.
