Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 2.8 ENGR - that's b/c they knew they didn't want you before they met you. See, during rush they divide up into two groups: one to pretend (thinly veiled attempt) that they are actually considering you, and the other to interview the pre-screened legacies/private school/background. Same with KKG, though they aren't as blatantly obvious. A lot of girls rank them high during recruitment whether they had a good experience there or not only due to their top tier status.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 3.4 So I'm not the most attractive, most exciting, funniest, entertaining person in the world, but I had a genuinely good time at every house during rush this year except Theta. I tried everything, but getting the girl to talk to me was like pulling teeth! She was just so bored by everything and clearly didn't want to be a part of the rush process, I couldn't wait to leave. I knew I wasn't going to get a top tier place but at least the girls at Tri Delt and Kappa were nice to me!

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 2.8 Still top tier! but lost a lot of the girls they wanted to Kappa, that being said they also took some that Kappa wanted as well! Lack the sisterhood/cohesiveness that other tops, Tridelt, Kappa, etc. have. Also, in their chase for money/status they lose a lot in the looks department.

I've got a couple close friends who go to UVA and have stayed in touch with each other them other than the one who joined theta and has completely changed because this sorority makes her think only of $$ and not of actual friends.
