If you are hot enough or rich enough your GPA won’t matter a wit

I thought you had to have over a 3.0 to rush?

All of the sororities will post their minimum gpa requirements for rush on the panhellenic website once rush gets closer

How strict are they on the minimums? This year it looked like no one listed less than a 3.0. Does that mean no one with a GPA below a 3.0 will be considered or that it's recommended to have above a 3.0?

take this how you will but most of these houses don’t actually listen to their average GPA, one of my houses during pref I didn’t make the gpa cut

Unfortunately in some of the top houses you get auto dropped for gpa if you don't meet a certain requirement

like you'll get dropped from all houses if you have a 2.8, or it'll be more difficult?

The way it works is each chapter will vote weeks before recruitment even starts on what the minimum GPA should be in order to take a PNM to the next round. If you don't have a GPA that meets their minimum you most likely will be dropped BUT if the chapter really likes you or sees you as a good fit in their house you can be invited back to their next round. Also some chapters will do COB and they aren't as strict on things like GPA! Best of luck!
