Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at University of Kansas - KU 3.4 pi phi is also known for taking majority of kc women and a handful of “strong” out of state PNMS. very similar to kappa but more so recruit based on looks and are rumored to take people based off financial reasons — not sure if that’s true. you can’t deny they have a beautiful house and very beautiful ladies! i wouldn’t join this house if you’re trying to focus primarily on grades or looking to meet people from allover the country.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at University of Kansas - KU 3.7 i’m not in this house but I did love them during recruitment a few years ago. Some really nice girls and some girls that are hard to get along with. they have always done well at recruitment but this past fall I heard they only got like 30 girls when other houses got like 80? not sure what the truth is but interesting nonetheless. don’t deserve all the hate they get but I have heard some horror stories of girls being really mean to each other? Don’t shoot the messenger just keep an open mind during recruitment this fall

yeah apparently—and this is what i heard i could have been told incorrectly so don’t get mad if it’s not true— is that they were super selective going through recruitment so before bid day they had to give out a LOT of snap bids to have enough ppl to be in good standing w panhellenic

It’s fun if you’re in the “in” group but besides that the house is super divided. They’re pretty but most look fake. They make weird rules for the girls, etc. Definitely a declining house.

Pi Beta Phi - ΠΒΦ Sorority at University of Kansas - KU 5.0 The girls in Pi Phi are so nice! When I went through rush they were so kind and told me about good restaurants and fun things to do in Lawrence since I am from out of state. I really enjoyed my time at pi phi during rush. Not once did they ever ask me about what my parents did for a living or anything about money. They seemed more like they actually wanted to get to know me and what I was planning on doing at KU.
