Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at University of Illinois at Chicago - UIC 2.4 No sense of sisterhood at all and will defend fraternity guys over their own members (I won’t say sisters because that is not at all what they are). If you join, the happiest moment of your life is when you finally leave.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at University of Illinois at Chicago - UIC 3.0 i dont know how i feel about them because i only spoke to two girls, one during involvement fair and one during meet the greeks. they all seem pretty nice but i just get a weird vibe from them. i hope to actually get to know them more in their upcoming social. overall, i think they are arent highly favored based on other girls i know but they are definitely middle ground if girls dont get into phi sig or deltaphi. im definitely considering them though!

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at University of Illinois at Chicago - UIC 4.0 They seem like a good bunch of girls. They're mostly white, but I appreciate the body diversity. There were 2-3 girls that were super friendly when I went up to them and were happy to talk to me about their sorority. I have my heart set on another but this is a close 2nd.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at University of Illinois at Chicago - UIC 2.0 I was at involvement fair and meet the greeks and they only pulled in the pretty girls. From what I've heard from their "scandal" sisterhood is not a strong suit here. Imagine going into a sisterhood with no sisterhood, but I should go into recruitment with an open mind right? Obviously this action does not represent all the sisters in this sorority so I'll try to be open minded. Aside from dirty rushing and lack of sisterhood, I'd say they're the typical sorority.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at University of Illinois at Chicago - UIC 1.7 I was in this sorority and Dropped. My first year was great, and I got super involved, but the girls just honestly don't care about each other and it got very grouped very fast. It broke my heart to see a great organization fall to pieces by a new executive board, but they can be very ignorant and don't want to listen to what other people say. In the past year, I'd say at least 10+ girls dropped some old and some new. I wished I could go back and choose a different organization, but at this point, greek life has worn me out with the drama and pettiness. They don't study together, they aren't crazy smart or pretty or all best friends like I thought. If school is your priority think carefully about if greek life is really worth it for you and if you're ready to associate yourself with the bad reputations some of them carry.
