POC’s in greek life
by: Question!!!Does anyone have advice/perspectives on what being a poc in a sorority at tech is like? I spoke to one girl and she was extremely negative, so I’m hoping that someone else has a different take. I’ve heard some sororities don’t really have black members but I’m not sure if it’s because there arent many rushing or bc they are purposefully being avoided. Any tips or insight?

I think it really depends on what sorority you’re in (bc some really care abt image) but overall it’s not too bad, depending on what you want out of being in a sorority. granted it’s sad that you can’t relate to everyone on a certain level and sometimes uncomfortable, but i think panhel is trying to do better this year especially after everything that went on over the summer bc unfortunately everyone decided to show their true colors
