UH Manoa is a large public research university sitting right in the heart of Honolulu, and like a lot of schools in Hawaii, the campus culture is shaped heavily by its island setting and genuinely diverse student population. The chapters represented — including Tau Kappa Epsilon, Kappa Sigma, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Phi Mu — each bring national affiliation and programming to the table, connecting UH members to broader alumni networks and inter-chapter events across the country. For a campus like Manoa, that national connection can actually be a real draw for students who want that experience in a more intimate, community-driven setting.
