How did cuts go

Are you happy with the houses you got back? Which ones do you still have?
Some of these cuts are brutal.

alpha phi , pi phi, alpha chi, gamma phi beta and kappa kappa gamma. 3 houses today and two tomorrow.

Sorry that you don’t love the houses you got back, but go in today and tomorrow with an open mind, you’ll get to talk to the sisters for longer and you might be able to imagine yourself in one of those houses. Try to remember those houses chose you and want you! Good luck!

This always happens. If you feel like you really connected then you did! But each chapter is assigned their cutoff number by panhellenic based on the algorithm and there's nothing they can do about it, it comes down to numbers. You were probably ranked high by them but just didn't make their cutoff. And I promise that it is hard on the actives who rushed you too. They really do advocate for the pnm's they like, and when it doesn't work out there are hurt feelings among sorority members, especially because the chapter membership doesn't see the final rank that is submitted, so when a well-liked pnm doesn't return, the girls who wanted you back don't really know if their chapter cut you or you ranked them low. Getting cut stings, a lot, but it is not personal. Please don't think you were judged and found lacking or that you did something wrong. Your getting cut doesn't mean they didn't like you and wouldn't want to be friends with you.
