rush process for most pnms

in general this is how rush goes for most pnms. don’t come at me saying “but i chose this house over that one”. good for you, im glad you found your home! this is just a GENERAL way MANY pnm’s go through the process.
most pnms go into rush wanting pi phi or aphi. they are both top houses and have overlap but also have different vibes.
if a pnm gets dropped by pi phi & aphi, then most will want dg
If they get dropped by dg, most pnms that are more academic and sisterhood oriented will want chi o and pnms who want more of the frat/party side of greek life will most likely go kkg. axo is right up there too, so at this point it gets down to vibe and the actual rush experience/who they meet/conversations they have.
the rest of the houses are also great and whichever one the pnm connects with is the one they will be drawn to.
the most important thing to keep in mind is that every sorority at cu is amazing and you will find friends at any of them.

yes- rush at cu is competitive since there are only nine houses total and usually close to two thousand pnm’s going through recruitment. understand that you are lucky to get a bid anywhere.

Great reminder to PNMs, don’t drop early! Stick with it through pref and if after going to the pref parties you still want to drop, then just don’t sign/submit the MRABA at the end of the night. Things can change throughout the week if you give it a chance. As much as people like to troll on this site, once rush is over, nobody cares and girls have friends in all houses.

this is so true. so many girls drop if they don’t get one of the top 2-3 houses. trust me- you will be SO sad on bid day when everyone else is running to a house and you have no where to go :(

Your experience in a top or mid tier house is going to be similar. You’ll have mixers, formals, philanthropy events, big/little, etc.
You can also have a great experience in any of the lower tier houses. Probably just fewer mixers. This is why it’s important to go where you feel wanted and valued!

this is so true! girls who are the most popular girls at their high school are literally shocked when they get dropped by top houses. please manage your expectations!

It’s really sad when you see a pnm miss out entirely on greeklife bc they drop out of rush thinking they are too good for a house!
