Rushing as a sophomore

So I’ve been seeing panhell & houses post things saying “yes! Sophomores can rush just like anyone else!” Sentiment but is that actually true? If you are recruiting and reading this be honest!!! I feel like other sophomores who are rushing again, this fall either didn’t get the house they wanted and dropped before pref or just didn’t rush in the 1st place

I think it’s just more competitive tbh. It’s definitely possible just go into open minded and not trying to only get top house (bc sororities will see right through the re rushing for touse). But I wouldn’t not do it just because it’s slightly different than rushing as a freshman

sophomores are preferable because they would be in the house for 4 years. if you previously rushed, they will remember you and you will likely get the same houses back. the advantage is you know the houses better and they know you.
