Why do people not like gphi

From all my interactions with these girls they were so sweet and seemed great and I don’t get why they are ranked so low. Any info?

When I rushed in 2023, I knew nothing about Greek life and went into it completely blind. I thought Gphi was a great sorority and was shocked to find out afterwards that they were ranked so low because I thought the girls were nice, pretty and really cool.

Agree! It’s because they don’t self rank. Everyone hates the “top” sororities.

I don’t think anyone dislikes Gphi. They are a solid house with sweet girls and a great sisterhood. If you end up liking them, don’t think twice about joining and don’t take rankings into consideration, regardless of which house you end up at

they just aren’t quite as social with frats or the same level of frats as the mids and tops so that puts them in that lower mid area, and they tend to get generally less attractive pc’s than the mids, but better than tri delt

personally i think gphi will be considered upper middle after this year. they are very much on the up and up and have been more concerned with growing their image which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. everyone i’ve met in gphi is so funny and cool and nice i kinda wish i would’ve joined them instead lowkey. they actually like each other there.

they used to be mid and equal to axo (if not higher than axo) but phi mu left and axo started getting better so they ended up slipping down the ranks. i don’t think anyone dislikes g phi they’re just the bottom of the middle bc someone has to be
