Joining a mid tier

by: Mids

I would personally prefer to join a mid level sorority because I don’t want to be in a sorority that only cares about looks and status and that has fake girls. What are some thoughts on ChiO, theta, kappa, Axo, or gphi? Maybe even dg? I feel like they’ll be hard to get into and I don’t really want to be stressed to get into a house, I want it to feel easy and welcoming

all great houses that appeal to different kinds of ppl but if u rly want to be in a house that doesn’t care abt status do NOT go kappa. just feel it out. you’ll be able to figure out which house is more authentic and values the same things as you once u get to know them on campus a bit.

Honestly the best way to gage a house is by rushing and meeting the girls. It’s a really weird process and the best advice is to go with your gut and go in with an open mind. Rank really doesn’t matter at boulder and this site is so stupid. I’m in a mid sorority and going with my gut is what gave me the best friends and sisterhood I could have asked for!

i pref’ed aphi and one of the mids and ended up in the mid, same with my little, and we both were upset at first but in hindsight SO grateful. i love the chiller vibe so much more, even though during rush i was so focused on “status”, which i found out doesn’t matter cause the mids still mix w all the top frats (minus maybe theta and gphi? but they still mix w good frats)
