PNMs, have you been reached out to by actives?

i think technically it doesn't count as dirty rushing because it isn't during the recruitment period and they aren't bid promising. i know when i was reached out to last year the girl asked if i was rushing and when i said yes, she said to feel free to reach out and ask her any questions. they technically aren't stepping over the line of dirty rushing but it is still weird.

I need some clarification, is it OK for houses to follow me? Is it OK for actives to reach out to me? Is it OK for me to respond back to actives if they reach out to me first? and is it OK for me to reach out to actives first? I don’t understand all the rules and I don’t wanna mess up.

Yes it is okay for houses to follow you, actives to reach out to you, for you to reach out, and for you to respond. All of this is allowed as long as it is before rush and they aren't bid promising.

PNMs - right now before rush starts it is ok for actives to reach out as long as they are just touching base or asking if you have any questions about rush, as long as they aren’t bid promising. you can absolutely respond to them and have a casual conversation. but like a week before rush starts through bid day actives are not allowed to talk to you outside of the formal rush process.

Reaching out first would be odd definitely don’t do that. But yes you can respond if they reach out as long as it’s not bid promising or something weird. But don’t tell people if this happens to you, keep it to yourself. When people flex about it, it just makes other girls feel awful.
