by: ooooIs it worth trying to rush APhi? were they just too selective in the fall or did a lot of girls drop? Just worried since spring recruitment doesnt seem to allow as much time to get to know the house and if there is a reason a ton of people dropped it would be good to know...

i would say if you’re interested, rush a phi. obviously this doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed a bid but if you click with their members and feel that you really fit into their sisterhood, you can always rush again in the fall if you don’t get a bid now. also, since they took a lot of girls in the fall (116, I think) i’m assuming girls dropped, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that there was one big reason everybody dropped. transferring , upper classmen studying abroad, and deciding sororities aren’t your “thing” are all reasons to drop. but as i said, if you really want a phi, it’s definitely worth trying. good luck
