Honest Sorority Breakdown (unfiltered)

ok before you go through recruitment, I need to tell you the truth that no one says out loud 😭 This is just my experience, but I wish someone had been this honest with me before recruitment:

SDT + DPHIE: don’t let social media fool you. these are mostly girls who weren’t really considered “cool” in high school and want a reset in college. Sounds good in theory, but once you’re in, you realize the insane dues aren’t worth it. You’re basically paying for fake friends to take pics with. They lowkey judge everything: your clothes, shoes, jewelry, and decide if you’re “worth” their time. Lots of talking behind backs, slowly stop inviting you out, and somehow you end up lonelier than before you joined. The worst things said about these girls has always come from the mouths of one of their “sisters”

ADPI + ZETA: genuinely sweet, smart, pretty girls who are actually normal. They’re close with frat guys because they’re chill and not trying so hard. They’re not always labeled “top,” but if you want real friendships, fun memories, and girls who will still be in your life after college, these are it. If you want proof of this look at how many girls in “top” houses hang out with girls in these sororities, it’s because the “top” house is no more than an instagram bio and these are where their real friends are, when it comes down to it many they wish they made the right decision during recruitment and that’s the honest truth

TRI DELTA: louder, rowdier, a little chaotic but in a fun way. Always down for whatever, less obsessed with image, more about having a good time and sticking together.

DG + PI PHI: still kind of new so they don’t have major “street cred” yet, but because of their legacy they have a LOT of potential with the right PCs.

CHI O: genuinely the nicest girls you’ll meet. Don’t care about ranks or money. A lot of them are really smart. Very welcoming, very real.

Anyways…this was my experience. It might get deleted AGAIN because some people don’t want you to know the truth until it’s too late. Do what you want with this information..just don’t go into recruitment blind.
