Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 4.2 Sigma chi is definitely better in being well rounded, like philanthropies and what not. Both frats are quite arrogant however. Pike definitely remains to be top because week to week they throw fantastic parties. Every time my sorority has had a party with them it is always super fun! They just figure out how to have a good time. Both frats are good looking, sigma chi has more of that "GQ" look while Pike is more of that "hot" guy look. Both are very not very humble though! (hint: work on that)

Sigma chi is definitely better in being well rounded, like philanthropies and what not. Both frats are quite arrogant however. Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 4.2 Personally, they are my favorite chapter at UCSD. I prefer them over sigma chi, but the sigs are cool too. Yes they dont do very much philanthropy work, but in terms of socializing and parties they are the absolute best.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 3.0 If you want to be tip top of the greek scale, you have two choices. Pike being one and sigma chi being the other (kind of known to be the only serious fraternity rivalry). I say stay clear of both. While these frats have attractive guys that appear to be "gentleman", they really are shallow and quite mean. Judge for yourself but from what ive seen, these chapters offer nothing in terms of a meaningful greek experience.

Pike always gets called top house simply because of parties and being so called "hot". But they dont represent what a fraternity should be about. They take on more of that animal house style of greek life, which is outdated.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of California, San Diego - UCSD 4.2 I consider them to be the DG of fraternities. Only considered the top house because of looks, nothing to do with how the effort they put into other aspects of greek life. Personally i have had no issues with them but I can see where people can think they are shallow
