GPA cutoffs for each house
by: True answer?Nobody seems to want to answer this question: what are the ACTUAL cutoffs for GPA at each of 18 houses at Auburn? Not the national headquarters number, because that doesn’t apply to Auburn where you have to have a much higher GPA to be admitted, but the actual number utilized by the sorority while cutting down their invitation lists going into Philanthropy. Is it 3.8 unweighted? 3.75? Is weighted ever considered or no?)

There is no answer in that regard because sorority chapters don't publish those numbers and also because GPA is a guideline for them, not a hard absolute. A chapter can take anyone below their 'required' GPA if she fits well with them in other ways. A sibling of a sitting sister or other really strong legacy, a well-known friend of a group of members, a high-profile individual on campus or otherwise, etc. And it also goes the other way; just having a high GPA does not give a pnm an automatic pass at any chapter.
When chapters make their ranks of pnm's for Philanthropy, GPA is a big factor but not the only factor. How they rank pnm's is at their discretion and how each conducts their membership selection process is confidential.
