i feel like so many houses are so mixed now that it's hard to classify in state/out of state

True but I think it's important info for pnms to have. While the mix is growing, the ones listed are definitely way more heavily from alabama and georgia. I'm from OOS and ended up in an IS sorority without really knowing it was one. I had a hard time getting settled because so many girls already were close friends and didn't want to branch out further- I felt like I started out on the outside when the whole point of rushing was to find new friends.

Agreed. While it's not a perfect science I think it's helpful for pnms to have a rough idea of the vibe they'll be getting

Zeta is so much better than Pi Phi... sorry not sorry! Gphi and Zeta's involvement has consistently outdone Pi Phi's, so they are on a more even playing field than Pi Phi is with Gphi. Pi Phi's only strategy is to draw in pretty/hot girls and they aren't concerned with much else. It shows when Gphi/Zeta put in the work year round and Pi Phi only shows up for rush. It's superficial and PNMs can tell.
