Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Auburn University - AU 1.6 A blow like that can easily cripple a fraternity. I'm predicting that at least a few of what's left of Sigma Chis pledge class will end up dropping. It's hard to recover from a lost pledge class. I predict Sigma Chi to fall out of the top 10 very quickly and become a decent middle tier fraternity unless they happen to pull off a top notch pledge class next year.

Why have they lost half their pledges after one week?

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Auburn University - AU 3.2 going downhill for a while now. First step for a top tier going down to a mid tier status is complacency. They've maintained their numbers with primarily party-first type kids. This brings down involvement reducing quality. When that happens you're really only there for parties and from there it's only a matter of time till you lose half your pledge class and you start getting killed by attrition, the second step. Third step is you get hit by a social probation. Time will tell if that happens.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Auburn University - AU 3.6 A lot of fun, good looking guys. Their pledge class last year was great. Seem really close too. My sisters and I love hanging out there. Always a good time.
