Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity Ratings at AU

Please tell me that you're being sarcastic. Their reign? Is that a joke? Never in their history at Auburn have they even broken into the top 5, but hovered just behind that for a little over a decade. My parents had barely heard of Sigma Chi when they were in the greek system during the late 80s and early 90s. SX peaked as a middle of the road top tier for the passed 10-15 years. Before that they were nothing since their founding in the 1930s. Losing them won't have much effect on greek life.

Their reign for the past 30 or so years is over. No denying this fraternity has been one of the best on campus throughout the years, but it's time for someone else to take its place. After all the allegations (supposedly 7+ calls to IFC and a few to their nationals this semester) I would be surprised if they aren't kicked off. If not kicked off they will definitely be in the same boat as lambda chi was a couple years ago. Hate to see this happen to any fraternity, much less this one

Several of the brothers date top tier girlfriends in KD and Chi O so get that straight. Last years Derby Darling and Sweetheart was also a KD so....top tier much? Check your facts. Secondly, the senior and sophomore pledge classes are phenomenal. Word on the street was the seniors had the best pledge class out of all the fraternities. Im guessing the ones who hate so hard on Sigma Chi are the ones who truly are bottom tier.

Losing half their pledge class is either going to be their wake up call or start of their march toward Pike and Phi Delt in middle tier hell. Right now the only thing going for them is their parties. If theyre hit hard by attrition that goes away. I can't see them falling under 70 guys, probably will fall to 85ish, but that's still really bad for SX and it's likely that happens.

Sigma Chi is a fraternity that was once great for a short time. They've just been 'good' ever since but have been declining over recent years. They rallied last year with a pretty good pledge class, but that was short lived when their notoriously brutal pledgeship finally caught up with them this semester, causing nearly half of their original class of 37 to drop after two weeks. Now nationals and IFC is investigating them. Even if they avoid a harsh probation, the damage has already been done.

I didn't think Sigma Chi would be the ones to self rank until I saw all the junk on this website about girls loving them. Since when have the top sororities ever loved Sigma Chi???
