a great sorority if you want to be well-known and popular. they are working on their campus reputation. they dont live up to the horrible reviews on this site. im in another sorority at mercer and ive had classes with some mus and i honestly loved them. great group of girls and got a good and diverse pc this year

Ilove this chapter! Phi Mu was a top runner from the first night of recruitment. I had great conversations with girls who I could tell genuinely loved their chapter. All of the sororities on campus are great and you will find your place wherever you go, but Phi Mu really became a rock in my transition to Mercer. My sisters have continued to make me feel welcomed and at home. They encourage me to reach out to sisters from other chapters and pursue relationships with girls that aren’t in our sorority. Sorority life is what you make it to be. There will always be good and bad everywhere you go, just make the most of it. If you go in with the mindset that you are going to put up walls to girls on the outside, then you are going to set yourself up for a cliquey sisterhood. As with anything you do, go in with an open heart and mind, seek to love girls inside and outside of greek life, and find your niche. You can’t go wrong!

Literally some of the nicest girls I’ve ever met! Phi Mus tend to be the popular cheerleader types but if you can get past that they are actually very real and authentic!

Not that nice to anyone outside of their little clique. Very enamored with money and obsessed with looks. Even their own sisters will tell you this to be true if they are being honest. Pretend to be classy but are actually the opposite

Phi Mu is definitely not a stereotypical sorority... like stop watching movies about college and actually LOOK at this sorority. It is definitely not as diverse as Chi O, but it is still DIVERSE. The few sisters, that I know, are so studious and involved. Yes, they are wild and know how to party. But let me tell you if they can get a 4.0 they can do whatever they want. Phi Mu definitely has the worst rep on campus out of all the sororities, but why? All sororities are equal, stop thinking your sorority is the best or all sororities suck. We are all girls here like lets come together and run this world. So Phi Mu? Hell yeah you do you girlies

They're just not original. The sorority is not confident enough to do their own thing and so they steal ideas from all the other sororities.

Phi Mu is the stereotypical sorority you see in movies and tv... many are really cool but the majority all have bad attitudes and are stuck up. I've heard from a few friends who dropped who wished they had gone to other houses and that what they portray during rush week is not at all what the chapter is really like. Some big/littles don't even like each other. If you want to join a sorority for the name, status, and pictures, and not sisterhood..go phi mu lol

phi mu is full of sweet, kind, genuine, caring, smart, & loving girls! i have found forever friends in phi mu. every girl has something unique & special that she contributes to the chapter. coming out of high school i did not think i would be interested in being in a sorority, but phi mu totally changed my mind & im so thankful i joined! there are friends for everyone in phi mu & im thankful to be a part of it.
