Great group of girls, serious about grades and philanthropy. Should be a great pledge class this year from talking to people around campus. Classy, cute and fun girls. New house will be fab!

i have a few friends in A Phi but I don't think that the younger girls are nice. The older girls of A Phi are awesome but not sure about the most recent pledge class.

My best friend is in alpha phi and she tells me EVERYTHING about this sorority. From reading these other comments that discuss cattiness, not being classy, not having a good sisterhood..etc..you really cannot know or define an entire sorority unless you are in that sorority (for more than one month). From what I have heard, the alpha phis have an extremely strong sisterhood, much bc they are able to ignore the hurtful comments other greek organizations say about them.

I have a lot of friend in Alpha Phi, sorority life isn't for me but if I had to pick one I would want to be in this one. From what I hear, the rumors of cattiness is completely false and inaccurate. The sophomore class, especially, does a lot of class stuff together and I hear nothing of drama or fighting. As for the rumors of being drunk, they know how to party and that's not a bad thing...

I guess I really don't understand this house. They go around campus telling people that they are number one, but their recruitment retention rates and drop rates don't represent that at all. They give girls going through recruitment a false hope that they will be in the "popular sorority:", and many end up dropping right away because the girls in the house are so catty and treat each other horribly. Very few of my friends that joined APHI two years ago are still in it now.

This chapter was the top chapter for years. They still have some amazing girls but the chapter as a whole has definitely declined. They recruited #3 out of 5 chapters last January, they now have the lowest GPA on campus, hardly do community service, and are mostly known for partying too much. This chapter has a weak sisterhood and many of the girls hardly speak. The chapter still views itself as the top chapter and often acts pretentious toward other chapters when they have no reason to.

I went through recruitment last year and chose not to join a chapter- that being said I was SO tempted to join alpha phi. These girls made me feel at home in their room, you could just tell they actually liked each other, something I didn't feel with any of the other chapters. The alpha phi girls just have something about them
