what frat should i rush?

Hello....I'm coming to UF from Chicago area. I don't know anybody at UF, but I'm looking forward to being a gator. I want to join a frat to help get to know other guys. What frats are middle tier, nice guys, no real hazing, but also have active social life? Also, do you recommend that I rush right away or wait to 2nd semester? Thanks.

i know two guys from Chicago at Uf and they are both Chi Phi's. They kinda match your description of what you are looking for.
