You have to fit the eauty standards (all gorgeous, ranges from pageant queen to Latina bombshell) and you also have to stand out. Be interesting. What's unique about you? Talk about that. Also, top tier loves girls who dance and/or cheer so definitely mention it if you do. Good luck!

Are you really pretty though? I'm sure that heavily factors into it? I've been told that I'm cute but I don't think I'm all that pretty or stunning.

I went through rush and personally didn't get dropped by a single house the entire time and it's only because I was "easy to rush" or so I've been told by every girl that rushed me that I'm not friends on Facebook with. Make it easy to talk to you! Ask them about them and be genuinely interested in what you're talking about. Be excited and enthusiastic. Talk to the girls like they are already your friends. It will not be hard to get a bid from a top tier if you act like you're one of them and you rush them instead of vice versa. I personally went Zeta and I don't think it's that hard to get a bid as long as you build a relationship with the girls that rush you and show that you love the house! I can't wait for recruitment this year! Don't be scared, it's not that bad! Enjoy it! There's so much networking and opportunities to meet cool older girls on campus! I'm friends with so many girls not in my sorority because they rushed me and I stayed in touch with them! Good luck!
