Do girls wear those bead necklaces at UF and would it be weird to wear one at recruitment?

Search Etsy double wrap bead necklace. Lots of girls at SEC schools wear them but UF isn't very southern so I wasn't sure.

In a top tier sorority and I see them all the time/own a few myself. I think everyone is just confused on what you are talking about. Definitely trendy for rush and you will want to show off your style regardless because even your outfit choices help you find the best house for you.

They look sort of cheap to me. Like Downton Abbey knockoffs if that makes sense. What about Kendra Scott? Or Yurman/Tiffany if you have the $$.
