Do girls basically just get chosen based off appearance? this might sound silly, but im worried i wont get chosen because I'm not skinny enough.

No. They pick you if you have good conversations with the women and they like you/think you're a good fit for them

I think it depends on the house honestly. I can list off at least 4 chapters that I know choose (from round 1, at least) if you are pretty enough. My house, does not, so it's not everyone at least. Obviously your conversations matter and are involved in choosing the 80 girls who are running home to them but theres a reason "looks" and "tiers" are a thing.
