does anyone else still feel anxious going into their sorority house? or going to events. like there is plenty of people i like in my sorority, but i dont really have a group so i get kinda nervous doing things. I feel like other members have much more friends than me. I dont know if my feelings are normal or not. i just rushed in the fall

I would say it's normal, it's hard being comfortable around 200+ girls especially since you just rushed in the fall. Some people just find a group faster than others, and some never find one at all and both are completely ok and normal.

stick with it! I am a sophomore now and I was in your exact shoes last year. I never went around my house because I didn't really feel like I connected and it seemed like everyone had their friend groups. However, this year during recruitment all of that changed and I made bonds with so many girls, especially in my pledge class. I really encourage you to stick it out until recruitment because I promise it will change things!!

I did drop after my first year and it was a great decision for me. I tried but it was not a good fit for me. I am so happy now! Found so many other amazing ways to be involved on campus and have made even better friends! No regrets!

I agree! I tried to stick with mine for a year and then it just didn't work out! Sorority life isn't the end all, be all to have a great time at UF!
