Why is it so hard to make friends ??

by: Agh

I thought the whole point of sororities was to make friends all they care about are baby socials and partying there’s over 80+ girls in my chapter and I barely know anyone or made any real friends and we’re a month in like??? Pls tell me it’s not just me and it’ll get better bc at this point I’m considering dropping..

You really do have to put yourself out there and make an effort. Meals at the house, girls in your dorm and classes, game days, ask someone to grab a coffee with you or some other errand before or after meetings, join a committee, look for or make opportunities for little meet ups. It doesn't happen right away more often than not and in classes that are so large you have to throw yourself into things and be the one to initiate. Some girls actually don't really bond unless they're thrown together in a common activity/purpose and this sometimes isn't until they rush on the other side together as sophomores.

This was me 2 years ago, I ended up dropping because it never got any better. I made more genuine friends outside of greek life.
