thoughts on dz?

i’m an incoming PNM and i am really interested in dz based on their ig and some things i’ve heard. what are some things to know about them? is it hard to get a bid from them?

IG posts don't give the complete picture...nothing bad to say about them, but you really do need to meet girls in person at all houses to base a good opinion and know if you all "click"..they may look good on media, but maybe they aren't your vibe. Maybe they are. If you are a great fit, then a bid isn't something to worry bout

Open mind and consider every house. Social media is a show, you never know til you see it for yourself. A great social media person can make any house look amazing- so keep am open mind.

Look at other sororities they allow tags. If they don’t allow sisters photo tags on insta THEN not many attractive girls , catfishes or not doing much on campus.

i went to a “higher tier” house and got dropped by them…really liked them too. i know a lot of people who got dropped as well. wouldn’t say it’s easy to get a bid from them but everyone ends up where they are meant to be!

basic upper mid. not really anyone’s first choice, a lot of adpi and kd rejects. just meh all around- very unmemorable but have a lot of really pretty girls.

Wow, what a backhand way to put someone down and pretend you really aren't. Uhm. DZ is a very nice sorority...lots of girls love them, they don't get the "rejects" (terrible choice of words) from a house. And if they are "unmemorable" like most mid and lower houses get called, it's because they don't involve themselves in drama. So if you like houses with no drama and good sisterhood full of "real" girls, this might be a house to consider.

dz is still relatively new on campus compared to the others. They were established in 2003. Others were 1940s-1950s.

Instagram is all staged to look great but yeah no recent tags allowed on their site Gphi has prettier girls imo and a nicer house but go thru rush and meet them in person.

My two favorite houses in middle tier. Hi o and dz . I have friends in both. Good sisterhoods and hang out with decent frats. They are classy .
