the perfect pnm video

Different people viewing it will see different things, there is no perfect. We are looking for the good, not analyzing for the bad. First round cuts are not made on videos, they just give us an idea and a first impression. After we meet you in person your video becomes irrelevant.
You can't go through rush before you go through rush, especially on this pathetic site. It's done at this point, nothing you can do, stop stressing.

GPA is the main thing, followed by resume, and for some houses social media. If a pnm is far below their target GPA, and the other things don't match for them either, a video is not likely to make up for that. Each sorority already has a good idea of how many pnm's they will be limited to invite back to round 2, so they will go ahead and make those tentative decisions and adjust when they receive their exact round 1 numbers from panhellenic. The videos are used to help round out their impressions of pnm's and help match them with actives for good round 2 conversations. Videos simply replace the exact same process as when round 1 was in person, with a lot less trouble and exhaustion for all concerned.

Cuts are made on videos, socials and resume at my chapter. Unless someone is going through recruitment as a sophomore and did badly their freshman year, everyone who got into UF has a really high GPA.

Can we maybe stop putting down PNM’s for giving in to temptation which is literally just human nature? The last thing whoever posted this needs is someone who is just projecting negativity towards them, esp going into rush. Thanks!

there is no “perfect pnm” video. be yourself and the right houses will like you for you!! ik that’s kinda lame advice but it’s true! don’t overthink it because you’ll drive yourself crazy. i think every sorority splits up the pnm videos by group and just the girls in that group will see your video.
show a friend your video & see how they think you came off! sometimes girls talk too fast/sound nervous which doesn’t leave the most amazing impression.
