What houses to avoid if you are not rich?

each sorority will give a comprehensive sheet regarding dues & etc during recruitment.. keep in mind some are not “all inclusive” aka they may expect you to pay to go to certain events & it is 100% okay to ask them any question regarding if it covers everything or any other financial question you may have during recruitment when they give u this sheet or during a later round…

if you are talking about the girls.. each sorority has different groups within them with different types of girls so keep an open mind throughout recruitment and you’ll do great!

Sororities are largely rich, especially the top tier. Immediately avoid ADPI and DG, new house dues are insane. Someone told me their dues are around $9,000 per year. DDD is similar in that they have high dues. All of these houses have very rich girl culture. Keep in mind new houses will have higher dues. The only top houses with lower dues are KD and AOPI because their houses are older. Most top tier chapters have a similar amount of events but the house dues is where the biggest change comes in. just off the top of my head ADPI and dg are known for being snobby rich, though, so there is the judgement you would unfortunately have to worry about.

All houses have rich and wealthy people ! The houses here know for rich girls are DDD, ZTA, DEEPH, DG and AEPHI. Lots of the girls are OOS from west coast and Notthrast. I am in a house that has a brand new house. My fees are not 4500. A semester. Do not listen to this crap in this site. If you want to live in a dump then chose pi phi, theta, Aoii, axo, Deeph, Kd!

Zta and Ddd have the highest dues. No wonder as the have stylists, makeup artist, limo service, spray tans, butlers , etc. The life of the snobby and rich girls!
